I loved this Airbnb! It was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I just wish there were extra curtains to block out the light that still comes in from the sides of the blackout blinds and another blanket would have been nice (I sleep better with heavier blankets). But it was still lovely regardless!

As a returning O’sider visiting friends and family, South O Bungalows over-exceeded our expectations; great job remodeling the place and promoting the South O culture. Even though we didn’t use them, we loved the private patio and fire pit areas. Easy access to downtown O’side, Carlsbad, the I-5 and the 78. Parking was a bit tricky, but not a deal breaker. We’d stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at On The Sands. We love the area. So many great restaurants and an easy walk to the ocean. The room had more than enough space for the two of us. The patio area was a nice addition. One of the best surprises was the amazing water pressure in the shower! We are already planning our next stay here!

Very clean, and cute place. Feels newly renovated very walkable lots of great restaurants. Nice to have the kitchenette. The only negative is the street noise in the evening was a little bit noticeable when we went to sleep, but did not continue throughout the night.

We loved this little rental, modern and clean but quaint too! It was just perfect for a weekend nestled between South O and Carlsbad Village. We had great restaurants and breweries in walking distance and a great walking trail to the beach. We had a great stay.

Excellent communication and easy check-in and check-out. The bungalow is tasteful decorated and had everything we needed for a short weekend getaway. Location was great with restaurants, coffee shops, and a small market in walking distance. You can even walk to downtown Carlsbad Village from the place. The minor downside is that it is off of Coast Highway which can be busy and loud so it was not so enjoyable for the outdoor space and keeping windows open at night. I would still consider staying again for the convenience.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay. 1st off I wanna say that it is extremely clean and the shower rocks. The water pressure is fantastic, the bed was nice and cozy and comfortable and that is huge for me, the Kitchen had what was necessary and room on the counter for me to put my own personal espresso machine. We thoroughly enjoyed the little outside patio by our room every single morning with coffee. The room had great soundproofing you do not hear the street noise. There are some great little places to eat within walking distance, even a unique ice cream store and great little bakery. The Oceanside pier is about a 2.4 mile walk very nice to do and on the way there depending on your route you could stop at the buccaneer and grab a nice coffee or a fantastic breakfast burrito and sit and watch the ocean. Walking to Carlsbad is also great only like 15-20 minute walk.
We definitely will be staying here again. Pattie is awesome!!!!!

Perfect hidden gem in Oceanside. Great room very clean nice shower and bed. The outside table is great for morning coffee or reading. Close to restaurants and best of all the beach. Will certainly be back.

This place is perfect for a nice getaway for two, located close to the beach. We had walkable access to many restaurants, and the private front porch patio was a perfect addition to our outdoor living space with lots of room to store our bikes.

I had such a great stay! The space was incredibly clean and neat, everything felt fresh and well taken care of. Check-in was super easy and smooth, which made arriving stress-free. The on-site staff were very friendly and welcoming, always available if I had any questions. One small detail that really stood out to me was the room spray, whatever scent that was, it smelled amazing and gave the whole space such a cozy, calming vibe. Would definitely stay here again!

I will say this place was very walkable to many locations and it was amazing the room was spacious and clean ! There were spiders but that didn’t really bug us haha just be aware ! The shower was really nice and had great water pressure. you could hear people outside of the doors while they were by the campfires but it wasn’t bad at all. You could hear like the water piping of adjacent rooms but it was not a huge deal at all. it was a very worth it stay for me who needed to be around the area. there are so many things to do around ! it was an amazing stay !

Great, cute, comfy place for 1-2 people in close proximity to downtown area. Bed was big and comfy. Water pressure in shower was fantastic! Spacious with furniture to store items, but no closet. Kitchenette was adequately equipped for the short stay. Definitely staying on my list to stay again. Someone on property for any immediate needs-very helpful, as needed.

The location was as described on a main street in Oceanside. The location was walkable and there were a lot of cute restaurants nearby. The location felt safe. The parking lot was easy to miss, so look out for Angelos and you know you are close. I would stay here again.

The bungalow was one of favorites! First off, love the pricing structure! No nickel & diming! Rules and instructions were very clear. The place was also super clean. Loved the amenities, especially coffee, fridge, and awesome shower. Outdoor amenities, like the fire-pit, were really nice, too. Loved that we could walk to bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. Will definitely plan to stay again someday!

Well designed and beautifully decorated space. The kitchenette was well stocked with coffee pods so that was a plus! The space is comfortable and very clean. Everything felt pretty much brand new. The water pressure in the shower was amazing (but a little loud). Beach towels were much appreciated as well! The location is very easy to miss as the address numbers don’t stand out well and as you drive by it’s hard to see there’s a small parking lot to turn into as there is a wall of plants on the street-side. However, if you see Angelo’s Burgers, look no further as the complex is directly across the street. Thats how we knew we were home each time we returned. And I highly recommend the milkshakes there! Overall it was a comfortable, clean, affordable, and memorable stay. Will recommend to others!
