The unit was incredibly cool, and the layout was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable, and the small kitchen was great, with a variety of complimentary items. The bathroom was also very nice.

Overall very good stay! The place was very comfortable and clean. We absolutely loved the quietness of the neighborhood while still being able to walk to local spots to find good food/ drinks/ shopping. Close to Carlsbad and Oceanside for further exploring!
Cons of the place: the parking lot is quite small, so we did end up needing to utilize street parking a couple times. Luckily there was a decent amount of street parking that was a close walk. Our biggest complaint was the amount of light that comes into the room at night. The whole building has security lights outside that do not dim or turn off until dawn. Inside there are blinds and “blackout screens” but they do not work very well and the light still bleeds in heavily. If you have kids or are used to sleeping in a dark room, I would definitely plan to somehow cover the windows. It would be helpful if the owners would add actual blackout curtains to further block out all the light.

We appreciate you calling out the parking and lighting concerns. The lot can feel tight at times, and you’re right that the street parking is usually the best backup. The exterior security lighting is managed by the complex and stays on overnight for everyone's safety, but your note about the blinds and blackout screens is helpful. We agree that true blackout curtains would be a big improvement, especially for light sleepers and families, and we’ll be looking into that.

This was an overall great experience. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Carlsbad/Oceanside area for a few days. The bungalows border Carlsbad, so you’re only a 5 minute drive from downtown Carlsbad. The unit was clean, spacious, and very nice. Great price for an amazing stay, we’ll be back.

Our stay was peaceful, was super close to the beach and much more. We ended up taking our little boy to legoland and it was 10 mins away! There was a lot of places to eat there and choose from as well. This place was very clean and they are very good at communicating. If you looking for peace, comfortable stay this is a good place to stay. Suggest this for a family/ couple traveling and want to be close to everything.
Big bed, and they do have a sofa turns to a full bed.
I will definitely stay there again!

Really nicely appointed. Clean linens and space. Easy entry.
Road/traffic noise could be an issue, so do keep the windows closed or come prepared with ear plugs.

So sad we only stayed here for one night! I absolutely loved the location, it was close enough to the Oceanside townsite to have fun but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. Extremely clean it looked just like the pictures, and all of the linen smelled really fresh. Hopefully we come back sometime soon so we can stay here again!

Great stay here last weekend! The room was wonderful, and its proximity to the beach was a huge plus—super convenient for a quick trip.
Parking was a bit tricky during my visit (Sunday night check-in). The property has 8 parking spots for 12 rooms, and nearby residential streets, which usually allow parking, were off-limits that Sunday evening due to Monday’s street cleaning. I couldn’t find a spot that night, but this felt like a one-time issue tied to the timing, not a flaw with the place itself.
Overall, a really nice experience—I’d happily come back!

Absolutely loved staying here!! We stayed in Room #11 and it was perfect. There was a small kitchenette with a table for 4. A living room with a sleeper and a king size bed. Everything pictured on the website is as pictured. It is within walking distance to the beach, shops and places to eat. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay… clean, safe, and with everything we needed for the night. I brought my two kids and it worked out perfectly… the sofa pullout gave them their own cozy spot, and the door that closed made it easy to have separate space for me, too. The location was great: we loved grabbing coffee at Bound next door, and it was such a quick, easy drive into downtown. Check in was smooth, communication was clear, and the whole place felt welcoming. A great family friendly spot for a quick beach getaway… we’d definitely come back!

Exactly as advertised. Very clean. There were a couple small things that came up during our stay and we were able to contact someone easily to help us out. The location is great - quick to Legoland and walkable to the beach/short drive to other larger beaches. Great restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing that would improve it would be some kind of access to a laundry facility which would make it easier for longer stays.

Perfect place for our family, close to everything. Clean and comfortable, very quiet. The front porch light was a bit bright (no doubt for safety reasons) so bring a sleep mask if any small light bothers you. Overall though it was perfection, and where my family and I will be staying in Oceanside going forward!

This place was great, though the layout was a little weird with the king sized bed in the common area and the couch being behind a door. Location of the place is nice, short drive to most things in Oceanside. Beach is not really walkable from the unit.
My biggest gripe is with the check-in. Everywhere on Air BnB says check in at 3. I get a text at 3 pm telling me that the check in time is 4. Instead of cleaning my room first, the lady cleaning the units cleans the other unit first and tries to get me to pay some kind of early check-in fee. I said no thanks and came back at 4:30. Pretty irritating but not the end of the world. I just encourage the host to make sure the check-in details are updated everywhere to prevent confusion in the future.

So cute! Outdoor space was awesome. Unit was pristine and perfect for me and my son. The cleaning staff on site was the most helpful, kindest lady. We had a great time. We walked to a lot of the places we wanted to go. I would definitely stay here again! My only suggestion would be to get more dishes, because if I had my daughter with us, there wouldn’t have been enough for the 3 of us.

This place was so cute and homey. It was very clean and the bathroom was very spacious. The bed was also big and comfortable. The showerhead had awesome water pressure.

Overall a great spot. Had some issues with check in process and lock not working with the proper code. Was well equipped with kitchen supplies, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Main bed was very comfortable, just wish there was a warmer comforter for the main bed in addition to the spare comforter in the pull out couch . Outdoor patio area was convenient and nice to have. Limited parking in the stalls but street parking was available around the corner within residential area. Short walking distance to some great bakeries, breakfast/lunch spots and great coffee.
