I loved my one night stay with them ,,, in some reviews I saw that it would be noisy but I didn’t hear much of anything throughout my stay luckily ,,, the hosts also let me check in 2 hours early for $25 which is reasonable. The place was also clean and had everything you needed in the space

It was clean, cute and the out door space was so inviting. You can hear the road and other people around especially talking outside and music in the next room but otherwise it was great and clean. Easy to get in and location is great right between oceanside and Carlsbad. Will stay again

Great spot in south Oceanside! The inside was nice and clean. The outdoor patios were nice too. It’s right off PCH so a little noisy but the location is great if you want to explore restaurants and shops. Thin walls, can get noisy with other guests. That was my only issue.
Fav part: the SHOWER. Amazing water pressure and shower head! The shampoo/conditioner/body wash is really nice too.

We loved staying at the South O Bungalows. The location was very convenient, the property was clean and welcoming, and the cleaning staff was so friendly and kind. She offered me a doggy cleaning kit in case our dog had an accident, which was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again! Easy, safe parking on the street for our oversized truck and lots of great food spots close by were two other highlights. Also, great communication from hosts! Thank you! 🙏🏻

Absolutely loved staying here. It was the perfect little getaway for me and my husband. The place was so cute and so clean and comfy bed. A lot of cute places within walking distance - Bikes to rent next door. Best breakfast we’ve ever had at Don’s Country (get the stuffed hashbrowns). We walked to pick up breakfast and ate it on the cute private little patio outside of our room.

Stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the room. Very clean, quiet little patio outside the door was nice to sit and have morning coffee. Everything you could want to eat and drink is close by. Small parking lot, but on street parking wasn't an issue. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights while celebrating Granddaughters 18th birthday and really enjoyed this place. Clean, pretty quiet even though the Blvd is right there. I did have to park on the street one night after coming back, but there was plenty of street parking so no biggie. I would stay here again.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for a quick getaway to CA. We couldn’t pass up this price, and it was such a lovely stay! Super clean, cozy space - corner lot of a beautiful neighborhood and right off main roads for easy access. Carlsbad beach is only a 5min drive, and there’s an Oceanside beach within walking distance. Hosts were over communicative right off the bat so we had no questions coming in. We’ll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay at this modern surf shack. I was absolutely grateful that I didn’t have to bother the hosts because their instructions were clear. The place was immaculate upon entering. Despite the neighbors being so close, it was very quiet and a great place to rest after being out and about all day.
Upon packing up and leaving, there was a discussion about returning to On The Sand for a quick getaway.

This place is great for the solo traveler! It's the perfect size, pristine clean, and it's walking distance from alot of shops and restaurants. It's about 5-10 minutes away from the beach.

This was a great spot super close to the beach! We loved how convenient the location was, we could go back and forth as much as we wanted from the beach. This place also has beautiful grounds, we really loved sitting by the fire pits in the evening. The hosts were also super helpful and easy to reach with any issues!

This was a great little spot and super close to the beach! We loved being able to go back and forth as much as we wanted. Loved this place, me and my friend stayed over the weekend after I adjusted my dates a week further down. Place is cozy and quiet if that’s something you are looking for. They have outside sitting making it cozy as well would stay again.

My stay was excellent from start to finish. The location was ideal for me personally. Walkable to downtown Carlsbad (approx 15 minutes) and the beach, plus plenty of good restaurants nearby in Oceanside.
I was only one person, so space was perfect and I didn’t need a kitchen though coffee, small fridge and micro were available if needed.
Place was immaculate and it had a nice little private outside spot plus cute communal area as well.
5 stars on the water pressure in the shower alone! Would definitely stay here again.
